The IT penetration rate in Nigeria is currently less than 4% in spite of efforts by several governments and agencies to increase this figure. Consequently, as a consulting firm specializing in market research, Matrinex Polls has had to adapt to this inadequacy by devising other ways of conducting our research. Our focus is therefore on:
As a matter of deliberate policy, we do not wait for the general public to visit our site and respond to surveys and polls. Instead we have developed a huge 50,000 strong mailing list to whom we send our surveys and polls because we are aware that if we wait for people to respond by visiting our site, very few will do so. We are proud to say that we have had great success in this respect because in every given survey or poll, we have had between 20,000 – 40,000 people responding. This is our greatest asset. In addition, we conduct telephone interviews (though expensive), and in-home visits.
